There is no fee for acceptance or display of poetry. We will not display your email address or give/sell it to anyone, nor will we send unsolicited/spam email to you. Authors maintain ownership of the work and grant a license for displaying in our Haiku widget and Haiku gallery only. We will not print, sell, give, or otherwise publish your work. Our purpose is only to provide poets a greater audience for their work.
Poems in public domain are welcome. Please submit the original author's name and click the 'Public Domain' setting.
Make sure submitted poems are appropriate for all ages. An subject is OK (nature, history, personal emotion, funny/serious etc.), but poetry with profanity, explicit violence, blasphemy, etc. will not be displayed in the widget. All contributions are checked by the Haiku Widget moderator before they appear in the widget. Moderator will not edit a poem in anyway and will either post it as is or reject it. The moderator reserves the right to reject submitted poems for any reason.
If your blog or website is appropriate for all ages, and you submitted the author's name, a link will be displayed with author name when the poem is visible. Otherwise, the author's name will be shown without the link.
