LibriVox Audio Books
How it Works
LibriVox is an all volunteer service making free audiobooks available to the public. These audiobooks will work on a standard audio player such as Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune, or hundreds of other common devices.
How it Works
LibriVox's audiobooks can be downloaded for free. All the works are public domain, produced by volunteers. No cost, no obligation. Not a book club in the strict sense, as there is no fee to join. But you can join as a volunteer and help produce more audiobooks.
Audiobooks are downloaded from their website and then copied to your audio device. You can also subscribe to any LibriVox title with iTunes and copy it to your iPod or iPhone.
Cost
None!
Types of Books
LibriVox works are public domain, meaning older books without copyright. There are many classics in many languages.
